Fire N Ice Records, LLC aims to create and produce music and artistes that will make an impact on the world of music, sending all the right messages, empowering people in a positive way and having a lot of fun and success doing it.
Fire N Ice Records, LLC was born out of the frustrations of two people who in their own rights have a lot to offer to the Industry of Music but found that the doors to getting on the inside were not just shut but locked tight and glued. Short of kicking down the doors with gun in hand they decided to build a medium of their own, one that they hope would garner the kind of attention they need to make them relevant. Winston Solomon, a songwriter who wrote major hits for the dancehall duo Chaka Demus and Pliers among several other reggae/dancehall artistes came back from a self-imposed asylum from the business of writing because he did not feel the business treated him well, to title himself as Label Owner and Record Producer alongside Joan Solomon who is herself a songwriter. Together the two gave birth to Fire N Ice Records, LLC.
Fire N Ice Records was founded in 2009 but was not official until two years later when in 2011, the first project from the new label, an album by reggae/dancehall singer JoJo Mac was released. The album titled “Superstar” kicked off what is now known as Fire N Ice Records. A second album by the singer was released in 2012 titled “Superstar Reloaded”. On July 23, 2013 a single was released for International Superstar Chaka Demus, titled “I’m In Love” featuring JoJo Mac from his new solo album “Chaka Demus: Second Coming”.
As time progresses Fire N Ice records will be adding new and innovative artistes to their roster and hopes to create a legacy for each artiste and the company alike.
